One of the easiest cakes to make and serve. Pour your batter into a 9x13-inch baking pan and bake according to recipe directions. When cool enough to serve, cut into bars or squares. And, the best part: We've got recipes for Chocolate, Vanilla, and Marble sheet cakes.

One of the hardest cakes to master... the classic layer cake! Cakes are typically baked in 8-or-9-inch round pans and then layered with frosting to create layers.

Loaf cakes are cakes that are baked in... you guessed it... a loaf pan! Simply add your batter to a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan. Not only are these cakes just as tasty as their counterparts, but they're so cute and small and make great gifts during the holidays!

Bundt cakes are generally firmer cakes and are baked in a decorative bundt pan. One of our all-time favorite bundts is a coffee cake which is made by layering cinnamon, sugar, and nuts between two layers of batter.
