    ½ c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, melted

    Directions

    1. Preheat 8-qt. air fryer to 350 degrees according to manufacturer’s directions.

      If you don't have an air fryer, use your convection oven. Just preheat to 350 degrees and spread on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until crispy.

    2. Cut 1/2 of angel food cake into 1-in. cubes. Reserve remaining half for another use. 

    3. Stir together cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl; set aside. Drizzle cubes with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon-sugar mixture.

    4. Air-fry pieces for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown, shaking basket occasionally. Remove cubes from basket and cool slightly before serving.

    5. Serve with dark chocolate sauce, if desired.
