Servings and Ingredients
|1 medium-large oval or oblong seedless watermelon
|Hy-Vee whipped cream, blueberries, sliced strawberries, as needed
|Hy-Vee powdered sugar, optional
- Cut a 3-inch thick slice from the center the watermelon. Place flat on a cutting board and use an oversized star-shaped cookie cutter (or sharp kitchen knife) to cut a star shape. Set on paper towel to drain excess water.
- Place on a serving dish or cake stand.
- Top watermelon with whipped cream, blueberries and strawberries. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired, and serve immediately.
