Servings and Ingredients
|1 c. flour|
|1 c. plus 1 tsp sugar, divided|
|½ c. margarine, melted|
|1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry Jell-O|
|1 c. boiling water|
|3 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with water|
|1 qt. strawberries|
- Mix together flour, 1 teaspoon sugar and melted margarine. Pat into pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
- To make filling, combine Jell-O, 1 cup sugar, water, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring frequently until thick.
- While filling is cooling, stem berries and cut them in half. Place cut-side-down in baked pie crust.
- Pour cold Jell-O mixture over berries. Refrigerate until set.
