    1 c. flour
    1 c. plus 1 tsp sugar, divided
    ½ c. margarine, melted
    1 (3 oz) pkg strawberry Jell-O
    1 c. boiling water
    3 tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with water
    1 qt. strawberries


    1. Mix together flour, 1 teaspoon sugar and melted margarine. Pat into pie pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
    2. To make filling, combine Jell-O, 1 cup sugar, water, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring frequently until thick.
    3. While filling is cooling, stem berries and cut them in half. Place cut-side-down in baked pie crust.
    4. Pour cold Jell-O mixture over berries. Refrigerate until set.
