1 c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee cornstarch | ||
1 (3 oz) pkg Hy-Vee cherry gelatin | ||
⅛ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon | ||
1 ¼ c. water | ||
2 c. frozen tart pie cherries, thawed and drained | ||
1 Hy-Vee 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled | ||
1 c. frozen Hy-Vee whipped topping, thawed |
Directions
- Combine sugar, cornstarch, cherry gelatin and ground cinnamon in a medium saucepan. Stir in water. Stirring constantly, bring mixture to a boil over medium heat. Boil 1 minute.
- Pour drained pie cherries into pie crust.
- Pour cooked cherry gelatin mixture over cherries.
- Cool 20 minutes. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until set.
- Garnish with whipped topping.
