Strawberry Cream Pie

|1 Hy-Vee frozen 9-inch pie shell|
|1 packet(s) Hy-Vee strawberry gelatin|
|1 c. boiling water|
|1 (10 oz) pkg frozen strawberries in syrup|
|1 c. Hy-Vee vanilla ice cream|
|1 (8 oz) container Hy-Vee frozen whipped topping, thawed|
- Bake pie shell as directed on package.
- In mixing bowl, combine strawberry gelatin and 1 cup boiling water. Stir to dissolve. Stir in frozen strawberries. Refrigerate until mixture mounds when lifted with a spoon.
- Gently stir in vanilla ice cream. Spoon into cooled crust. Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.
- Spoon mound of thawed topping on each piece.
