1 lbs. fresh mushrooms
lemon juice
2 packet(s) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
1 tsp. garlic salt
¼ c. butter, melted
¼ c. chopped onion
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese, divided


  1. Saute mushrooms with lemon juice. Squeeze moisture out of spinach.
  2. Mix spinach with garlic salt, melted butter and onion. Line bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with spinach, like a pie crust.
  3. Layer 1/2 cup grated cheese and sauteed mushrooms. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
