Servings and Ingredients
|⅓ c.||Hy-Vee butter or margarine|
|8 oz.||sliced Monterey mushrooms|
|½ c.||thinly sliced green onions|
|2 c.||Hy-Vee beef broth|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee long-grain white instant rice|
|salt and pepper, to taste|
|½ c.||sliced almonds|
- Melt butter in saucepan and saute mushrooms and onions in butter for 2 to 3 minutes. Add beef broth and rice. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 20 minutes.
- Remove to serving bowl. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with almonds on top.
