1 (21 oz) can fruit pie filling, any flavor | ||
1 (9 oz) pkg Jiffy yellow cake mix | ||
½ c. pecan pieces or sliced almonds | ||
½ c. butter |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Spread undrained pineapple in an 8-inch-square baking dish. Pour pie filling evenly over pineapple.
- Sprinkle cake mix evenly over pie filling. Sprinkle with pecans or almonds.
- Slice butter and lay slices evenly on top. Do not stir.
- Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool 1 hour before serving.
