    3 (21 oz each) cans Hy-Vee cherry pie filling
    2 (9 oz each) boxes Jiffy yellow cake mix
    2 (12 oz each) bags Hy-Vee pecan halves
    1 c. Hy-Vee butter
    Hy-Vee vanilla ice cream, optional

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a greased 9-by-13-inch baking dish, layer pie filling, cake mix and pecans.
    3. Chop butter into bite-size pieces and sprinkle over pecans.
    4. Bake for 1 hour.
    5. If desired, serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
