Cranberry-Mascarpone Toasts

1 (8 oz) loaf Hy-Vee Bakery Italian bread | ||
8 oz. mascarpone cheese, softened | ||
½ tsp. orange zest | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee dried cranberries | ||
Fresh thyme sprigs |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- For crostini, slice bread lengthwise and place cut-side-down on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Toast for 15 minutes or until golden. Cut bread crosswise into 16 (1-inch) slices.
- In a small bowl, combine mascarpone cheese and orange zest. Spread each toast with mascarpone mixture. Top with cranberries. If desired, garnish with thyme.
