Teriyaki Tofu

Description
Think of tofu as a neutral-tasting protein that takes on whatever flavor you put on it, and in this case, it's a sweet chili teriyaki sauce.

¼ c. teriyaki sauce | ||
1 tbsp. sweet chili sauce (or 1 minced garlic clove and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes) | ||
1 tsp. soy sauce | ||

¼ c. shredded green cabbage | ||
2 bird eye chilies, thinly sliced | ||
1 scallion, thinly sliced |
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together teriyaki sauce, sweet chili sauce and soy sauce. Set aside.
- Drain tofu and cut into 1-inch cubes. Steam tofu in a vegetable steamer on the stove top, 5 minutes, or microwave on 80% power until warm, 3-5 minutes.
- Place tofu squares on serving dish. Top with shredded cabbage, sliced chili and scallion and drizzle with sauce.
