    Servings and Ingredients

    Ingredients
    Serves 6
    QuantityIngredientAdd
    1 lbs. lean ground beef
    1 Hy-Vee large egg
¼ c. crushed Ritz crackers (about 10 crackers)
1 medium red onion, finely diced
    2 tsp. kosher salt
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder
    ¼ tsp. cayenne powder
    ½ tsp. Hy-Vee black pepper
    Hy-Vee canola oil, as needed
    ½ c. Hy-Vee teriyaki sauce
Sliced green onions and sesame seeds, for serving

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. In a large bowl, combine beef, egg, crushed crackers, onion, salt, garlic powder, cayenne and black pepper. Form into 12 meatballs.
    3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook until browned on all sides. Transfer skillet with meatballs to oven and cook until meatballs reach an internal temperature of 160 degrees, about 10 minutes.
    4. Remove from heat and top with teriyaki sauce. Return to oven for 2 to 3 minutes or until sauce is heated through.
    5. Top with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
