    2 c. brown sugar
    2 c. flour
    1 ½ c. uncooked oats
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    5 c. chopped rhubarb
    1 ½ c. white sugar
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. vanilla


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13-by-9-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
    2. Combine brown sugar, flour, oatmeal and cinnamon. Spread half in prepared pan. Top with rhubarb.
    3. In a saucepan, boil sugar and water until clear and thick. Add vanilla. Pour over rhubarb.
    4. Sprinkle remaining half of the oatmeal mixture on top.
    5. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes.
