    4 c. chopped rhubarb
    3 c. sugar, divided
    ½ c. margarine, softened
    1 large egg, beaten
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    ½ c. milk

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Combine rhubarb and 2 cups sugar in a 9-by-13-inch pan.
    3. Mix remaining 1 cup sugar, margarine, egg, flour, baking powder and milk together. Spread on top of rhubarb.
    4. Bake for 45 minutes.
