Reduced-Sugar Maple-Roasted Pears

2 firm, ripe Bartlett pears, halved lengthwise and cored | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee chopped walnuts | ||
Hy-Vee whipped topping, optional |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Combine maple syrup and water in an 8-inch-square glass baking dish. Place pears, cut sides down, in dish. Roast pears 15 minutes.
- To serve, drizzle pears with pan juices and if desired, top with whipped topping.
