|3 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Select maple syrup|
|2||firm, ripe Bartlett pears, halved lengthwise and cored|
|¼ c.||Hy-Vee chopped walnuts|
|Hy-Vee whipped topping, optional|
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Combine maple syrup and water in an 8-inch-square glass baking dish. Place pears, cut sides down, in dish. Roast pears 15 minutes.
- Turn pears cut-side-up and spoon pan juices over pears. Sprinkle with walnuts. Roast for an additional 8 minutes or until pears are tender.
- To serve, drizzle pears with pan juices and if desired, top with whipped topping.
