4 (6-oz.) pesto marinated chicken breast
½ c. water
4 lbs. Hy-Vee Short Cuts zucchini noodles
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee salt
1 c. Gustare Vita Mediterranean pasta sauce
Hy-Vee grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Fresh basil, for garnish

  • Charcoal or gas grill
  • Meat thermometer
  • Large skillet
  • Serving bowl


  1. Preheat a charcoal or gas grill with greased racks to medium-high heat. 

  2. Add chicken to preheated grill. Grill 10 to 15 minutes, or until chicken is done (165 degrees), flipping once halfway through cooking. Remove from chicken from grill; cover with aluminum foil and keep warm.

  3. Add water to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add zoodles and season with salt. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until crisp-tender; drain. Add pasta sauce, tossing to coat, and continuing to cook until sauce is heated through. Remove from heat.

  4. Serve chicken, sliced across the grain and serve over zoodles. Top with Parmesan cheese. Garnish with basil, if desired. 

  5. To save time, or if fresh spiralized zucchini is unavailable, use 1 (12-oz.) pkg. Hy-Vee frozen zucchini spirals.
