Cranberry Chutney Brie
Place a cookie cutter on a wheel of brie and fill the inside with cranberry chutney for a festive, holiday effect.
Servings and Ingredients
|1 (12 oz) bag cranberries|
|1 ¼ c. Hy-Vee sugar|
|¾ c. water|
|1 large apple, peeled, cored and finely chopped|
|2 tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon|
|1 tsp. ground ginger|
|¼ tsp. ground cloves|
|Brie cheese and Hy-Vee crackers, for serving|
- Combine cranberries, sugar, water, apples, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or fruit has softened and chutney has thickened. Cool completely.
- Serve over Brie cheese with crackers, if desired.
