There's something comforting about our tater tot casserole. This loaf is packed with crispy potato puffs and layered with cheese, garlic, and spicy serrano peppers.

½ tsp. That's Smart! garlic salt
½ c. Hy-Vee finely shredded Parmesan cheese
½ c. Hy-Vee shredded mozzarella cheese
½ c. shredded Colby cheese
3 clove(s) garlic
1 serrano pepper, seeded and finely chopped

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Spray a 1-quart souffle or casserole dish with nonstick spray; set aside. 

  2. Sprinkle potato puffs with garlic salt. Bake puffs on a rimmed baking pan for 8 minutes; flip over and continue baking an additional 7 to 8 minutes. Remove from oven; cool slightly. 

  3. Toss potato puffs with Parmesan, mozzarella, and Colby cheeses, minced garlic, and serrano pepper. Loosely pack mixture into prepared dish.
