Blueberry Ginger Sauce

1 c. Hy-Vee frozen blueberries or fresh blueberries | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
¼ tsp. ground ginger | ||
¼ c. Hy-Vee orange juice | ||
Serving suggestions: Hy-Vee vanilla ice cream, prepared angel food cake, pancakes or Hy-Vee waffles |
Directions
- Combine blueberries, sugar and ginger in a small saucepan and stir in orange juice. Bring to a boil over medium–high heat and boil for 5 minutes, stirring frequently. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Serve warm.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream, angel food cake, pancakes or waffles, if desired.
