    Servings and Ingredients

    QuantityIngredientAdd
1 whole or half Hy-Vee spiral-sliced ham (discarding glaze packet)
    1 (12 oz) jar Hy-Vee apricot preserves
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cloves

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
    2. Remove all packaging material from ham.
    3. Line a baking pan with 2 (24-inch) pieces of foil (for a half ham), making an X with the foil.
    4. Place ham on its side in the center of the foil.
    5. Wrap ham tightly with foil and place in baking dish.
    6. Heat ham to an internal temperature of 115 degrees - approximately 15 to 17 minutes per pound.
    7. Estimated heating times: HALF HAM: 2 to 2-1/4 hours. WHOLE HAM: 3 to 3-1/4 hours.
    8. For glaze, combine apricot preserves and cloves in a small saucepan and heat on medium-heat heat. Stir continuously until melted.
    9. In the last 15 minutes of baking time, uncover foil from ham. Baste ham with apricot clove glaze and leave uncovered for the rest of the baking time.
    10. Heat any remaining glaze and serve with ham.
