    2 (8 oz each) containers mascarpone cheese
    ¼ c. heavy cream
    ¾ c. firmly packed brown sugar, divided
    ½ vanilla bean, split lengthwise and scraped
    ¼ c. butter
    ¼ tsp. Chinese five spice powder
    4 peaches, unpeeled, each cut into 8 wedges
    ¼ c. brandy, silver rum or whiskey
    10 prepared crepes

    Directions

    1. In a medium bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, 1/4 cup brown sugar and vanilla bean. Whisk until fluffy; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
    2. Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of mascarpone cream on each crepe, then fold into quarters. Place on a serve platter.
    3. In a large skillet, melt butter with 1/2 cup brown sugar and Chinese five spice. Add peaches and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring constantly until tender. Add liqueur and ignite (flambe).
    4. Pour peaches and sauce on top of mascarpone-filled crepes and serve immediately.
