Mile-High Meringue for Cream Pies

¼ tsp. cream of tartar | ||
⅛ tsp. salt | ||
½ tsp. vanilla | ||

Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Combine egg whites with cold water. Beat until frothy.
- Add cream of tartar, salt and vanilla. Beat until stiff.
- Add sugar. Beat until stiff and peaks form.
- Pile onto pie and spread to touch the crust all the way around.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
