    3 egg whites
    2 ½ tbsp. cold water
    ¼ tsp. cream of tartar
    ⅛ tsp. salt
    ½ tsp. vanilla
    3 tbsp. sugar


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Combine egg whites with cold water. Beat until frothy.
    3. Add cream of tartar, salt and vanilla. Beat until stiff.
    4. Add sugar. Beat until stiff and peaks form.
    5. Pile onto pie and spread to touch the crust all the way around.
    6. Bake for 15 minutes.
