|1||(6.5 oz) pkg Hy-Vee pizza crust mix|
|½ c.||hot water|
|4 tsp.||Hy-Vee Select olive oil, divided|
|½ c.||Hy-Vee pizza sauce|
|1 c.||Hy-Vee pizza cheese|
|Optional toppings: Hy-Vee pepperoni, sausage, Hy-Vee pineapple slices, ham, green peppers, mushrooms|
- Prepare a clean grill to medium heat.
- Prepare pizza crust with 1/2 cup hot water according to package directions. Press dough with floured fingers into a 12-inch circle on a greased cookie sheet. Brush top of pizza crust with 2 teaspoons olive oil.
- Quickly flip the pizza dough, oiled side down, onto the preheated grill. Brush top with remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil. Grill for just 1 to 2 minutes, watching carefully not to burn.
- Using a pizza peel or large spatula, quickly flip crust. Working quickly, top grilled side of pizza crust with pizza sauce, cheese and toppings. Close grill and cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until crust is cooked through and cheese begins to melt.
