Serves 4
1 (6.5 oz) pkg Hy-Vee pizza crust mix
½ c. hot water
4 tsp. Hy-Vee Select olive oil, divided
½ c. Hy-Vee pizza sauce
1 c. Hy-Vee pizza cheese
Optional toppings: Hy-Vee pepperoni, sausage, Hy-Vee pineapple slices, ham, green peppers, mushrooms


  1. Prepare a clean grill to medium heat.
  2. Prepare pizza crust with 1/2 cup hot water according to package directions. Press dough with floured fingers into a 12-inch circle on a greased cookie sheet. Brush top of pizza crust with 2 teaspoons olive oil.
  3. Quickly flip the pizza dough, oiled side down, onto the preheated grill. Brush top with remaining 2 teaspoons olive oil. Grill for just 1 to 2 minutes, watching carefully not to burn.
  4. Using a pizza peel or large spatula, quickly flip crust. Working quickly, top grilled side of pizza crust with pizza sauce, cheese and toppings. Close grill and cook 1 to 2 minutes longer or until crust is cooked through and cheese begins to melt.
