    2 links hot or sweet (mild) Italian sausage, casings removed
    4 (6-inch) white flour pitas
    1 c. marinara sauce, divided
    1 c. sliced fresh mushrooms
    1 c. diced green bell pepper
    1 c. shredded BelGioioso fresh mozzarella cheese


    1. Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray. Preheat grill to medium (300°F to 350°F). In a medium skillet cook sausage over medium heat 5 minutes or until meat crumbles; drain.
    2. Spread each pita with 1/4 cup of the marinara sauce. Top evenly with sausage, mushrooms, bell pepper and cheese.
    3. Place pita pizzas on grill. Grill, covered, 6 minutes or until pitas are browned and cheese melts.
