|2 lbs.||lean ground beef|
|2||large onions, chopped|
|1||(29 oz) can Hy-Vee tomato sauce|
|2||(14.5 oz each) cans Hy-Vee Italian diced tomatoes|
|3 clove(s)||garlic, minced|
|3||Hy-Vee bay leaves|
|1 tbsp.||Hy-Vee Italian seasoning|
|3 tbsp.||Hy-Vee soy sauce|
|1 tbsp.||Hy-Vee seasoned salt|
|2 c.||uncooked Hy-Vee elbow macaroni|
- In a large Dutch oven, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain and return to Dutch oven. Add onions to the beef and sauté until tender, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in water, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic, bay leaves, Italian seasoning, soy sauce and seasoned salt. Cover and cook 25 minutes.
- Stir in macaroni; cover and simmer over medium-low heat 20 minutes.
- Remove Dutch oven from heat and let sit 30 minutes. Remove and discard bay leaves before serving.
