½ lbs. ground beef | ||
1 small onion, chopped | ||
2 celery, chopped | ||
1 (15 oz) can hot chili beans | ||
¼ c. ketchup | ||
1 c. water | ||
1 tsp. salt | ||
¼ tsp. black pepper | ||
¼ tsp. sugar | ||
chili powder and cayenne pepper, to taste |
Directions
- Heat oil in frying pan. Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned.
- Push ground beef to the side of the pan. Add onion and celery and cook until soft. Drain.
- Add chili beans, ketchup, water, salt, black pepper, sugar, chili powder and red pepper. Mix well. Simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
