    2 lbs. ground beef
    salt, black pepper and garlic powder, to taste
    1 (1.25 oz) envelope taco seasoning
    2 (1.375 oz each) envelopes chili seasoning mix
    1 large yellow onion, chopped
    2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
    3 (30 oz each) cans chili beans
    1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes
    1 (8 oz) can sliced mushrooms
    1 (46 oz) can tomato juice
    crackers and shredded cheddar cheese, for serving

    Directions

    1. Brown ground beef. Drain. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
    2. Add taco seasoning, chili seasoning, onion and jalapeno peppers. Stir together. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
    3. Add chili beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and tomato juice. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
    4. Serve with crackers and shredded Cheddar cheese.
