Soup, Chili & Stew
Servings and Ingredients
|2 lbs.||ground beef|
|salt, black pepper and garlic powder, to taste|
|1||(1.25 oz) envelope taco seasoning|
|2||(1.375 oz each) envelopes chili seasoning mix|
|1||large yellow onion, chopped|
|2||jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped|
|3||(30 oz each) cans chili beans|
|1||(28 oz) can whole tomatoes|
|1||(8 oz) can sliced mushrooms|
|1||(46 oz) can tomato juice|
|crackers and shredded cheddar cheese, for serving|
- Brown ground beef. Drain. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
- Add taco seasoning, chili seasoning, onion and jalapeno peppers. Stir together. Simmer for a couple of minutes.
- Add chili beans, tomatoes, mushrooms and tomato juice. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
- Serve with crackers and shredded Cheddar cheese.
