6 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. milk
1 c. brown sugar
1 ½ c. powdered sugar
vanilla
1 pinch(es) salt

Directions

  1. Combine butter, milk and brown sugar in a saucepan over low heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
  2. Cool pan in cold water until your hand can be held on the bottom of the pan comfortably.
  3. Stir in powdered sugar, vanilla and salt. Beat until smooth.
  4. Frost cake immediately as frosting hardens quickly.
