1 ¾ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar | ||
1 ½ c. Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips | ||
⅔ c. Hy-Vee evaporated milk | ||
¼ lbs. (about 20) Hy-Vee marshmallows, quartered | ||
2 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine | ||
½ c. Hy-Vee walnut pieces | ||
Hy-Vee salt | ||
1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla |
Directions
- In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine granulated sugar, milk, margarine and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat.
- Immediately add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Stir until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
- Spread into a greased 9-by-9-inch pan. Cool.
- Cut into 48 pieces.
