    1 ¾ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    1 ½ c. Hy-Vee semi-sweet chocolate chips
    ⅔ c. Hy-Vee evaporated milk
    ¼ lbs. (about 20) Hy-Vee marshmallows, quartered
    2 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine
    ½ c. Hy-Vee walnut pieces
    Hy-Vee salt
    1 tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla

    Directions

    1. In a heavy 2-quart saucepan, combine granulated sugar, milk, margarine and salt. Bring to a boil over medium heat and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    2. Remove from heat.
    3. Immediately add chocolate chips and marshmallows. Stir until chocolate and marshmallows are melted. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
    4. Spread into a greased 9-by-9-inch pan. Cool.
    5. Cut into 48 pieces.
