| 2 tsp. butter | ||
| ⅔ c. evaporated milk | ||
| 1 ½ c. sugar | ||
| ¼ tsp. salt | ||
| 2 c. miniature marshmallows | ||
| 1 ½ c. semisweet chocolate, vanilla or peanut butter chips | ||
| 1 tsp. vanilla | ||
| ½ c. chopped pecans or walnuts, optional |
Directions
- Butter an 8-inch square pan; set aside.
- In a medium saucepan, bring butter, milk, sugar, and salt to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat; stir in marshmallows, baking chips, vanilla and nuts. Beat for 1 minute or until marshmallow are melted and mixture is smooth. Pour into prepared pan.
- Cool and cut into squares.
