    8 organic red delicious apples, cored
    ¼ c. Organic Valley butter
    ⅓ c. honey
    ¾ tsp. apple pie spice
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    ⅓ c. Earthbound Farms raisins
    ⅓ c. sliced almonds
    2 c. Soy Delicious creamy vanilla frozen dessert, divided


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place apples in an ungreased 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
    2. In a small saucepan, combine butter, honey, spice, vanilla extract, raisins and almonds. Bring to a boil. Drizzle equally over apples.
    3. Cover with foil. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove foil. Bake an additional 10 to 20 minutes or until apples are tender.
    4. To serve, place an apple in a serving dish. Spoon 1/4 cup frozen dessert from baking dish over apple. Spoon 2 tablespoons of honey mixture over frozen dessert.
