    4 Jonagold apples
    3 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine, softened
    2 packet(s) Hy-Vee instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal
    1 c. water
    2 tbsp. caramel ice cream topping, divided

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Core apples with a melon baller, making a 3/4-inch-wide cavity stopping 1/2 inch from the bottom. Peel top inch of apples.
    3. In a small bowl, combine margarine and oatmeal packets. Stuff apples with oatmeal mixture.
    4. Pour water in an 8-by-8-inch baking pan. Arrange apples in pan.
    5. Bake 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
    6. Remove apples from pan and serve warm drizzled with caramel topping.
