Cinnamon-Spice Baked Apples

3 tbsp. Hy-Vee margarine, softened | ||
2 packet(s) Hy-Vee instant cinnamon and spice oatmeal | ||

2 tbsp. caramel ice cream topping, divided |
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Core apples with a melon baller, making a 3/4-inch-wide cavity stopping 1/2 inch from the bottom. Peel top inch of apples.
- In a small bowl, combine margarine and oatmeal packets. Stuff apples with oatmeal mixture.
- Pour water in an 8-by-8-inch baking pan. Arrange apples in pan.
- Bake 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
- Remove apples from pan and serve warm drizzled with caramel topping.
