    1 lbs. lean ground beef or turkey
    1 medium onion, diced
    1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
    1 (28 oz) can tomato sauce
    1 (24 oz) jar Sawmill Hollow aronia berry chili starter
    1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained, optional
    1 to 2 c. water or tomato juice

    Directions

    1. Brown ground beef or turkey and onions in a large sauce pan.
    2. Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili starter and beans (if using), and add water (or tomato juice) for desired consistency.
    3. Bring mix to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
