    2 to 2-1/2 pounds round steak
    1 (1.5 oz) envelope onion soup mix
    ¼ c. water
    1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
    mashed potatoes, for serving


    1. Cut steak into 5 or 6 serving-size pieces. Place in a slow cooker. Add onion soup mix, water and cream of mushroom soup.
    2. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours.
    3. Serve with mashed potatoes, if desired.
