|1||sugar pumpkin (pie pumpkin), up to 4 pounds|
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut off the pumpkin's top. Scrape out the goop and seeds. Save the seeds for roasting if you like).
- Cut pumpkin into big pieces and place the pieces on a baking sheet. Bake the pumpkin until nice and soft, about 45 minutes. Let it cool.
- Scrape the pulp from the skin, put into a food processor and pulse until it is smooth.
