Plum and Nectarine Tart

|2||medium nectarines, pitted, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices (about 8 oz)|
|2||large plums, pitted, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices (about 8 oz)|
|¼ c.||sugar (use up to 1/3 cup if needed)|
|2 tsp.||Spice Islands pure vanilla extract|
|¼ tsp.||Spice Islands ground nutmeg|
|prepared pie dough for one 9-inch pie shell|
- In medium bowl, combine nectarines, plums, 1/4 to 1/3 cup sugar, cornstarch, vanilla and nutmeg, tossing to mix well.
- Place pie dough flat on ungreased baking sheet. Arrange fruit mixture on dough, leaving 2-inch border. Gently fold border of dough over fruit; sprinkle with sugar, as desired.
- Bake at 425 degrees F for 30 minutes until crust is golden brown. Cool slightly on wire rack. Serve warm.
