    ½ c. water
    ¾ c. Hy-Vee granulated sugar
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee vanilla extract
    2 ripe plums, halved, pitted, each cut into 12 wedges
    1 c. halved red grapes
    4 gingersnap cookies, crushed

    Directions

    1. Simmer water and sugar in small saucepan over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Cool slightly. Stir in vanilla extract.
    2. In a medium bowl, combine plums and grapes. Pour sugar mixture over fruit. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
    3. To serve, spoon fruit into dessert cups and sprinkle with cookie crumbs.
