|1 c.||Hy-Vee margarine|
|1 tbsp.||light corn syrup|
|1||(6 oz) pkg chocolate chips|
- Heat margarine, sugar, salt, water, and syrup in a saucepan to light-crack stage. Test by placing a few drops into a cup of ice-cold water. It should form a brittle thread.
- Pour onto ungreased cookie sheet. Spread with spatula.
- When candy feels warm to touch, sprinkle with chocolate chips. Let stand a few minutes, then spread with spatula. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
