In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer on medium to high for 30 seconds. Add brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Beat until combined, scraping sides of bowl. Beat in flour and salt until combined.
Spread dough evenly into bottom of prepared pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately place chocolate bars on top; let stand for 2 minutes or until chocolate is melting. Spread melted chocolate over bars. Top with pecans and toffee pieces. Let stand until chocolate sets. Cut into bars.
