    ½ c. Hy-Vee unsalted butter, at room temperature
    ½ c. plus 2 tbsp Hy-Vee powdered sugar, divided
    2 tsp. orange zest
    ½ tsp. ginger
    ¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground cinnamon
    1 c. Hy-Vee all-purpose flour


    1. Cream butter until light; add 1/2 cup powdered sugar, orange zest, ginger and cinnamon, mixing until smooth. Add in flour until mixed well, kneading if necessary until smooth.
    2. Roll dough out to about 1/4-inch thick onto a lightly floured cookie sheet. Press with a cookie press, if desired, or leave plain. Dough can also be pressed into cookie molds.
    3. Bake at 325 degrees until very lightly golden, about 22 to 24 minutes. In molds this takes about 30 to 36 minutes. Cut with a very sharp knife as soon as they come out of the oven.
    4. Cool completely. Dust with remaining powdered sugar.
