    15 c.popped popcorn
    1 c.packed brown sugar
    ½ c.butter or margarine
    ¼ c.light Karo syrup
    ½ tsp.salt
    ½ tsp.baking soda
    ½ tsp.vanilla


    1. Place the popped popcorn in a large container.
    2. In a 2-quart casserole dish, combine brown sugar, butter or margarine, Karo syrup and salt. Microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes.
    3. Stir until combined. Stir in baking soda and vanilla. Pour over popcorn. Mix well.
    4. Cover and microwave for 1-1/2 minutes.
    5. Stir popcorn. Microwave for another 1-1/2 minutes. Spread on a rimmed baking sheet to cool.
