    2 c.chopped fresh broccoli
    ¼ c.diced green onion
    1 c.water
    1(14.5 oz) can Hy-Vee low-sodium chicken broth
    1(4 oz) bag Idahoan loaded baked flavored mashed potatoes
    1 ½ c.Hy-Vee skim milk
    1 c.Hy-Vee 2% milk shredded cheddar cheese
    Hy-Vee black pepper to taste

    Directions

    1. In a large saucepan, combine broccoli, onion, water and chicken broth. Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    2. Stir in mashed potatoes until smooth.
    3. Slowly stir in milk. Do not boil.
    4. Add cheese and stir until smooth. Season with black pepper.
