Ice Milk Shake-It-Up
Kids of all ages will enjoy making this delicious summertime treat. Simple and fun to make, this easy homemade ice cream recipe can be shaken-up in just ten minutes.
Servings and Ingredients
|2 c.||2% low-fat milk|
|1 tsp.||vanilla extract|
|1 c.||evaporated skim milk|
|¾ c.||frozen pasteurized eggs|
|½ c.||rock salt|
- Combine milk, vanilla, evaporated skim milk, sugar and egg substitute in large bowl. Stir with wire whisk until well blended. Refrigerate.
- Fill 1-gallon Ziploc bag half full of ice and 1/2 cup of rock salt.
- Fill a 1-quart Ziploc bag with 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup of milk mixture and seal tightly.
- Place the sealed 1-quart bag into the 1-gallon bag. Shake gently. Product will freeze in about 10 minutes.
