|2 lbs.||ground beef|
|¼ c.||minced onion|
|1 c.||grated Colby cheese|
|1 ½ tsp.||salt|
|2 tbsp.||Worcestershire sauce|
|¼ tsp.||garlic powder|
|8 to 10 slices bacon|
- Combine ground beef, onion, egg, cheese, ketchup, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and garlic powder. Form into balls and pat together until firm.
- Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon. Flatten each ball into a hamburger patty. Secure ends of bacon with a toothpick.
- Grill until bacon is crisp and internal temperature of patty reaches 165 degrees.
- Better if made several hours ahead of time and refrigerated, covered, until cooking time.
