Deli Sandwich Rolls
These piping hot yeast rolls are stuffed with Di Lusso premium top round beef and a delicious blend of yellow Colby and white Monterey Jack cheeses. They reheat well and are perfectly portable for lunches or picnics.
Servings and Ingredients
|1 (13.8 oz) can Hy-Vee refrigerated pizza crust|
|8 oz. thinly sliced Di Lusso deli roast beef|
|8 slice(s) Di Lusso deli Colby Jack cheese|
|1 Hy-Vee large egg, beaten|
|1 tbsp. water|
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a large baking pan with parchment paper; set aside.
- Unroll dough and cut into 8 equal pieces. Cut cheese slices into pieces the size of dough pieces. Layer meat and cheese on dough pieces. Carefully wrap dough around the meat and cheese layers, pinching edges to seal completely. Place seam-side-down on prepared pan.
- In a small bowl, stir together egg and water. Brush egg wash on rolls.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until rolls are golden. Cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes before serving.
