    2 lbs. ground beef
    ¼ c. minced onion
    1 large egg
    1 c. grated Colby cheese
    3 tbsp. ketchup
    1 ½ tsp. salt
    2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    ½ tsp. pepper
    ¼ tsp. garlic powder
    8 to 10 slices bacon

    Directions

    1. Combine ground beef, onion, egg, cheese, ketchup, salt, Worcestershire sauce, pepper and garlic powder. Form into balls and pat together until firm.
    2. Wrap each ball with a slice of bacon. Flatten each ball into a hamburger patty. Secure ends of bacon with a toothpick.
    3. Grill until bacon is crisp and internal temperature of patty reaches 165 degrees.
    4. Better if made several hours ahead of time and refrigerated, covered, until cooking time.
