Crab Puffs

These flakey puffs have a spicy, savory, and cream cheesy filling with a generous helping of crab in each bite.

2 tsp. Hy-Vee Worcestershire sauce | ||
1 tsp. fresh lemon juice | ||
½ tsp. hot pepper sauce | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee garlic powder | ||
¼ tsp. Hy-Vee ground mustard | ||
Hy-Vee salt and Hy-Vee black pepper, to taste | ||
6 oz. cooked fresh crab meat | ||
2 green onions, chopped | ||
1 sheet puff pastry dough, thawed according to package directions |

- Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper; set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk egg; set aside. In mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, ground mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in crab meat and green onions.
- Unroll puff pastry and roll into 12-inch square. Cut into 16 squares. Top each square with about 1 tablespoon crab mixture. Fold opposite corners towards center, pinching in center slightly.
- Brush with prepared egg and place on prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until light golden.
