    Things To Grab

    • Electric mixer
    • Large bowl
    • Waxed paper
    • Rolling pin
    • 1-1/2-inch cookie cutter
    • Toothpick or skewer
    • Parchment paper
    • Cookie sheet
    • Wire cooling rack

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Using an electric mixer, beat sugar cookie dough with flour; divide into several small portions. Tint portions with desired food colors.

    2. Roll each portion between waxed paper to 1/4-inch thickness. Use a 1-1/2-inch cookie cutter to cut out light bulb shapes. Use a toothpick or skewer to create a hole at the top of each cut-out cookie. Place 2-inches apart on parchment-lined cookie sheets. Bake 7 to 9 minutes or until set. Cool on cookie sheets 2 minutes. Transfer to wire racks; cool completely.

    3. Spread frosting on bulbs, then, using Hy-Vee light corn syrup as "glue" decorate with sprinkles and/or candies. String decorated cookies with Twizzlers Pull 'n' Peel candy.
